What we actually do
We will be straight with you about this one. In most Australian suburbs rain does a reasonable job of keeping panels clean, and we are not going to quote you a percentage of extra output, because the honest independent Australian evidence does not support the numbers the industry throws around. Where cleaning genuinely earns its place is flat or near-flat arrays where water pools instead of running off, hard soiling such as bird droppings and lichen that rain will not shift, and keeping the array in the condition your warranty expects. The most sensible time to do it is while we are already on your roof for gutters.

How much extra power will I get?
We do not publish a number, and we would be careful with anyone who does. The credible independent Australian analysis finds the gain on a typical suburban rooftop is small, because rain already does most of the work. Cleaning is worth it for flat arrays, for hard soiling rain cannot shift, and for warranty condition — not as an energy investment.
Why only as an add-on?
Because the cost of this work is mostly travel and set-up. If we are already on your roof for gutters, cleaning the panels costs you very little. As a standalone visit it rarely makes sense, and we would rather tell you that.
Can cleaning damage the panels?
Not the way we do it. Deionised water and a soft brush, no detergents, no pressure washer on the panel face, and never on a hot array.
